About Us
We are The Gathering Type, a small team of creatives whose approach to event design & coordination is both personal and purposeful.
Visual artistry and the skillful management of time and details are important aspects of our role, but the work we do is ultimately about tuning into people and helping them use the time and space they’ve been given in an intentional way. As a team we develop three main elements: striking ambiance, artful presentation of food & drink, and unique opportunities to engage in meaningful conversation. More than anything, we want to see people connect with each other.
Our team works comfortably in nearly any context, remaining incredibly mindful of the nuances between personal and professional relationships, playful and reverent moments, and intimate and structured settings.
